- We have an AppleTalk network running on PhoneNet (LocalTalk) and
- coax (EtherTalk) cabling with Gatorbox routers. I'm concerned about
- "Overrun" error rates. I had Peek listen to 15,000 packets. Error counts
- were Overruns = 2254 (that's about 15%), CRC = 0 and Time Outs = 0.
- I'm happy with the last two, but I'm wondering about the Overruns.
-
- Could someone tell me what an Overrun is, whether I should be concerned,
- and if so, how to reduce them?
-
- Most gratefully,
-
