  12.      The U.S. Air Force recently applied for an international patent for
  13. a narrowband digital multi-speaker conferencing device.  The device makes
  14. it possible to conduct multi-speaker conferencing over telephone bandwidth
  15. channels by using digital speech coders.
  16.      Of interest is the countries in which the Air Force has filed the
  17. patent.  They are:   Australia, Brazil, Canada, Switzerland, Czeckoslovakia,
  18. Germany, Denmark, Spain, Finland, United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea,
  19. Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden and Russia.
