- The U.S. Air Force recently applied for an international patent for
- a narrowband digital multi-speaker conferencing device. The device makes
- it possible to conduct multi-speaker conferencing over telephone bandwidth
- channels by using digital speech coders.
- Of interest is the countries in which the Air Force has filed the
- patent. They are: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Switzerland, Czeckoslovakia,
- Germany, Denmark, Spain, Finland, United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea,
- Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden and Russia.
