  11. I am trying to set up a Hitachi 3750 SCSCI cd-rom with an ADAPTEC 1542 adapter
  12. to run under OS/2 1.3 (Microsoft) and LanManager 2.1.  The cd-rom player
  13. is attached to the 2nd 1542 controller in the system.  Everything seems to
  14. be set up properly with the controllers and in the OS/2 config.sys according
  15. to the documentation but OS/2 won't recognize the drive.

  17.   I am familiar with the advice re. using Hitachi CD-ROMs with OS/2 2.0
  18. but this is with v. 1.3 which seems to use different drivers.  Any suggestions
  19. on where to go next would be appreciated.  I only need data access to the
  20. CD-ROM not audio.
