-
- you can try LPRMON. I have not tried it myself but it's supposed to work
- with the OS/2 print manager.
-
- eg. Install HP LaserJetwith the print manager to print on lpt1.
- Set LPRMON to intercept lpt1.
- make sure that LPR is setup properly (ie LPR_PRINTER and LPR_SERVER
- environment variables)
- LPRMON will now intercept all print jobs to the lpt1 and call LPR to
- send the job to the remote printer.
-
- now for my question.
-
- Can I use a UNIX (or WinQVT) lpd as my print server? Or must it be an OS/2
- lpd?
