I am also trying to run Telemate, currently v3.01 (have 3.1, but not
not installed yet), and am having Xfer problems.. My modem is only
2400 baud and is Hayes compatible..  I recently purchased a new I/O
board with a 16550 chip.. The chip had this number: 16c550cd printed
on it.. I dont know if this chip is functional since the other chips
mentioned do not match the ID numbers printed on my chip.. The board
is made by KOUWELL model KW-524F, if thats of any help.. My Transfers
seem to lose sync when I switch from the FS-Dos session with ALT or
CNTL+ESC for just a moment and dont seem to recover on switching
back again.. The only chip mentioned in the Kouwell User Manual is
the 16450 chip.. There is nothing said about a buffer either..

Anyone who has any info to help me out.. please respond.. OS/2 is
EXHAUSTING me!!  I am a simple 'end user', who has thus far been
VERY dissappointed in the functionality of OS2 v2.0!!

I HAVE read the FAQ and TNT And C:\Readme without any positive results..
I have tried adjusting the FS-DOS session 'settings' parameters as suggested
by other users, in other threads.
I have NOT installed the 'latest and greatest' commga FIX.. I will do that
today..
