  28. Tim-  Wait 'til you try a merge!  In about 15 minutes, it'll merge 5 or so
  29. names into a letter.  Incredibly slooooowwww.  However, a work-around for 
  30. the problem you outlined.  I have this happen too.  Instead of using R or 1 
  31. for "Retrieve" document, highlight the document name in F5 (list files), then
  32. press CTRL-F5, and then release.  The document will come on screen rather 
  33. quickly (I believe this option was mentioned in some older wordperfect stuff 
  34. unrelated to OS/2 a few years back).  It seems to retrieve with CR/LF as 
  35. a hard return.  Don't have a work around for soft return yet.  I just wish 
  36. the damn thing would work with a simple "R" from the List Files screen.

  39. apps to the comp.os.os2.apps list instead of here on comp.os.os2.misc .
