- All but io.sys/msdos.sys (they do not belong to OS/2) can safely be
- defragmented. However, backing them up/restoring them under DOS is not
- sufficient to preserve extended attributes, because the pointers to the
- EA data in the "ea data. sf" file on FAT file systems would not be
- preserved but are required.
