- I am using (today.....:-) a 486DX/25 with 8megs of RAM. I am running the
- Novell Requestor. I have the same problem. Something does not appear to be
- freeing memory and i think it is the requestor as I do not have this problem
- if I am not running it.
-
- I have stripped down all the DOS settings to minimise memory usage. I have
- played with the order i open the LAN apps. These seem to have helped. I think
- my sesions are private (as opposed to global)......so i may be re-loading the
- requestor every time I create a new LAN session (I usually have three apps
- running from the LAN)?
-
- I run DaVinci E-mail (Windows version), SBT accounts receivable and accounts
- payable, Bitfax for OS/2 and Describe - plus an OS/2 full screen sesion that
- is usually swapped out. On a good day, I can keep this lot running. Usually,
- though, i am restricted to any three of the above. The order seems to matter.

- Does what is the difference between provate and global? How do i change this?
