- I have OS2 on a 486-33-8Meg, 130Meg Fujitsu IDE hard drive.
- Lately the system has been getting slow, with a
- tremendous amount of disk activity going on even when there was nothing
- going on- eg only the desktop open, and I then open an OS2 window. The
- swapper.dat file had grown to over 14MB It dropped to 12, but stuck
- there, and the system had become slow. I dual booted Dos, and erased
- the huge swapper.dat file. OS2 is back to its old form now.
- Yes I have installed the kernel patch. Do others also find that the
- swapping still leaves something to be desired?
