- I just got OS/2 2.0 and am trying to be impressed with the advanced
- (superior) multitasking.
-
- Well, I load up Telix or Telemate in a DOS window and try to download
- something through my modem and I get a ton of errors.
- Effective throughput drops to 200cps (should be about 1600cps for v32bis)
-
- I reboot DOS and finish the file transfer at 1600cps under "wimpy" DOS 5.0.
-
- Am I doing something wrong???
-
- It seems that OS/2 is not fast enough and is missing some IRQ's from COM2.
-
- BTW... my hardware is as follows:
- 486/33, 64k cache, 8meg RAM, 213 Meg HD, ZyXEL EXTERNAL 32bis modem
- connected on com2.
-
- Thanks...
