- I may have missed a few things or so, but I haven't had time to go
- through the manuals thouroughly and won't have for a while. So I
- need someone to clear this matter in very few words.
- I am trying to install OS/2 2.0 on a 486-33, 17Meg RAM, Seagate ST-1102
- harddisk, AMI BIOS, 3.5 and 5.25 floppy, 4*serial, 2*parallel, no-name
- IBM clone. It reads the install disk fine, asks for disk 1 and when inserted
- complains "disk read error, insert install disk and try again" or something
- similar. I tried doing as it says in the readme when not installing on
- a MCA-bus machine, but no go. What's up?! Anybody seen this and knows
- the answer? Will I be able to ever install OS/2 (then HOW?) or not at all?
-
- Cheers
- Erik
