- Howdy. When I set up my ATI Graphic Vantage card for a custom configuration
- at 76 Hz vertical refresh of my NEC 5FG monitor, OS/2 will crash when
- dragging a highlighted icon. It crashes real, real hard--have to reboot.
- I get the same effect with a Mircosoft serial mouse or the ATI inport mouse.
- If I set the video refresh rate down to 72 Hz, everything is OK. All other
- mouse operations at 76 Hz are OK, including selecting a window and dragging
- that around.
-
- I've heard of com programs/boards that will choke up os/2 if they send too
- hand hardware IRQ's. Could it be that the mouse is doing the same thing?
-
- I am using the mouse driver MOUSE.SYS and the old VSVGA.SYS that came with
- os/2 and the new kernel.
-
- Any help will be appreciated.
