- I wouldn't call the hidden attribute proprietary either. But the OS/2
- delete directories don't store files using the just hidden attribute. They
- are stored under a name consisting of a control number, and there is a
- file called control.del in the delete directory which contains all the
- information about the deleted files. The files are hidden too, on top of
- this.
