  30. read the installation guide section on partitions.

  32. however you boot you will only see *ONE* primary partition.

  34. booting OS/2 gets you partition 1 as C: and partition 2 is
  35. ignored as it is a alternative primary partition
  36.  
  37. booting DOS from floppy gets you partition 2 as C: as it rejects
  38. partition 1 as not being of the right format (it doesn't understand
  39. HPFS).

  41. you need to repartition.

  43. if you want partition 2 to be DOS bootable and accessible from OS/2
  44. the partition 2 needs to be primary and partition 1 extended (??
  45. forgotten right term for this) as OS/2 can boot off one of these.
  46. downside here is OS/2 will probaly end of D:  :-(

  48. if you don't need DOS boot make partition 2 extended and you get
  49. to see it from OS/2
