  14. in the last two weeks, I have ported two programs
  15. to OS/2. One took a lot of time, on is only a
  16. quick hack. But I want to make it available via
  17. ftp-os2 and comp.binaries.os2. Now I would like
  18. to know how and where I can upload the packages
  19. and who is responsible so that I can send him
  20. a small email.

  22. The first package is the newsreader TRN for OS/2,
  23. which I already announce some days ago.

  25. The other one is the vi-clone elvis. Normally I
  26. hate redundancy (someone else ported it already).
  27. But that one had an annoying bug in the screen
  28. handling, so that it is nearly unusable for me.
  29. It took me only five or six hours to do it,
  30. so there may be some bugs or problems. If you
  31. recognize a bug, just send me an email with
  32. the detailed description what you have done,
  33. and I will try to correct it.

  35. Both ports were done using emx/gcc, which is
  36. really great when trying to compile unix-software.
