  19. I know people are upset because Pournelle is just does some really dumb
  20. things at times but in reality, he does things that other users tend to do.
  21.  My biggest problem with his columns isn't that he makes mistakes but when
  22. they do occur he gets the VENDORS to come out and fix them.  The average
  23. Joe User doesn't get this level of support.  When Jerry's columns initially
  24. came out, he was forced to go through the same help lines that "Joe User"
  25. has to go through.  Now that is column is popular, he gets special
  26. treatment and that (IMHO) detracts from the usefulness (and humor) of his
  27. columns.
