- Windows 3.1 is printing .34" too low (a larger top margin than specified) with
- an Epson LQ-510 printer. For example, asking Word for a 1" top margin results
- in a 1.34" top margin. I did update unidrv.dll to 3.1.1 to no avail.
-
- Epson said "We build printers, the software is Microsoft's." Microsoft said
- "Call Epson. Oh, they won't help? Then I'm sorry, maybe someone here will
- look at it. Why don't you call back in a month to find out?"
-
- What are other LQ-510 owners experiencing? Can anyone suggest a solution? I
- don't care who's fault it is, I'm just trying to fix an annoying problem.
-
- Rigging the margins in all my apps is a work-around, but since I often switch
- between the Epson and a Postscript printer, it is cumbersome to constantly
- change the upper and lower margins. I suppose I could get the DDK and write
- my own driver, but the DDK costs more than the printer.
-
- Help?
