  33. It's my understanding that you don't need any drivers when installing
  34. Windows NT (from the boot floppy, of course).  Make sure you have the
  35. latest PROM version in your Adaptec though.  I *think* the 1542B had
  36. problems and corrupted hard disks with the older version of the PROM's.

  38. I have a CDR-83J (equiv. of the CDR-84) and an Adaptec 1740.  I haven't
  39. got it to work yet, but I think it is just a termination problem and
  40. laziness. :)
