- It's my understanding that you don't need any drivers when installing
- Windows NT (from the boot floppy, of course). Make sure you have the
- latest PROM version in your Adaptec though. I *think* the 1542B had
- problems and corrupted hard disks with the older version of the PROM's.

- I have a CDR-83J (equiv. of the CDR-84) and an Adaptec 1740. I haven't
- got it to work yet, but I think it is just a termination problem and
- laziness. :)
