- I'm using an Adaptec controller. When I went to Windows 3.1, I had no problem
- with or without the /double_buffer. But, both were slower than the version of
- Smartdrv that came with 5.0. Also, the disk heads spent much more time
- rattling around. I also didn't like the write cache because I never flush the
- buffers before crashing my PC.

- I switched back to the Smartdrv from DOS 5.0. Everything has been fine ever
- since. I have a permanate swap file that I setup with Windows 3.0.
