  11. WC.DOS users always have the old fashion method of defragmenting which is
  12.   .dependable and cheap--backup and restore!

  14. Except that doesn't do as good a job, large subdirectories are fragmented
  15. because they are created "on the fly", and DOS doesn't know how many files
  16. are going to be in them.  Since directory access is one of the most 
  17. frequent accesses, your method isn't exactly a panacea.
