- Bottom line:
- Windows 3.0 punches itself in the face *hard* when used with SMARTDRV.EXE.
- Apparently, it presumes that write caching can't be disabled and corrupts the
- PROGMAN and .GRP files on exiting. Applications also wind up with invalid .INF
- files on re-booting Windows.
