- I couldn't connect either but after about a million calls (all at 44 cents
- each!) I gave up on the 9600 and just went with 2400. I had it set at
- 8N1 and I had to tell my modem not to try to negotiate speed or protocol.
- In other words, I had to turn the thing into the hunk of junk modem that
- I just got rid of! Needless to say, I was not pleased. BTW =
- I get the same crap from the Borland BBS. Maybe it's just me? Nah!
