- It sounds like you're trying to boot from the distribution floppy (or a
- copy) from the MS-DOS 5.0 upgrade pack. If so, you need to follow the
- supplied installation instructions. The upgrade requires that you have
- an earlier version of MS-DOS installed (which you do). It won't boot
- straight from the floppy with the upgrade pack.
