  10. I have a simple question for the msdos wizards out there! I have a
  11. '386/25MHz system with 2MB RAM and DOS 5.0. My motherboard allows
  12. the upper 384KB of RAM to be moved above the 1MB boundary so that I
  13. have 1.44 MB of RAM available to be used.

  15. I have set up my system with a 512KB disk cache (using smartdrv)
  16. and 384KB of expanded memory (using emm386). I have also set up DOS
  17. to run in upper memory (using DOS= HIGH). This should leave me with
  18. 512KB of extended memory. However, mem /c only shows about 270kB!
  19. Does anyone know where the rest has gone?
