  23. I have seen this several times, and it generally happens when Windows
  24. goes nuts and writes to the wrong place on the hard disk.  Yes, that's
  25. right, MS Windows.  Time to restore from backup, or if you use Norton
  26. Utilities' IMAGE program, the UnFormat program may help you out.
