- I have seen this several times, and it generally happens when Windows
- goes nuts and writes to the wrong place on the hard disk. Yes, that's
- right, MS Windows. Time to restore from backup, or if you use Norton
- Utilities' IMAGE program, the UnFormat program may help you out.
