- A friend will be teaching a course on operating systems this fall.
- He would like to use Minix 1.5 for pc's (I know nothing about Minix,
- I am assuming this is the latest version). Now the questions:
-
- - Is Minix share-ware, public domain, or commercial?
-
- - How does one go about getting the Minix package?
-
- - Does the package include source code for the kernel?
- (this is required for the course he will be teaching).
-
- Excuse me if these are FAQs but I haven't seen a comp.os.minix-FAQ
- anywhere...
-
- Thanks,
- Paul Yatrou (yatrou@inrs-telecom.uquebec.ca)
