- Hi Linuxers all,
-
- I have obtained, through a marathon ftp session, the SLS package. I want
- to install it on my 120MB IDE hard drive and use OS/2 boot manager. How do
- I go about doing this? Prior to installing the OS, is there anything that I
- should know about.
-
- I would like to be setup like this:
- C: 120MB IDE HD:
- 1 MB Boot Manager partition
- 119 MB Linux Partition
- D: 200MB IDE HD:
- 20MB MS-DOG 5.0 Partition
- 180MB OS/2 Partition
- Currently I have the boot manager on my 120 MB IDE and have a 20 and 99 MB
- partitions for DOG and OS/2 resp. I have just received the 200MB IDE so it
- is not yet set up.
-
- I recall that Linux 0.96c (which is apparently what I have downloaded) does not
- support partitions >64MB. How does this effect my setup?
-
- Any comments and hints appreciated. Is there anybody out there with a similar
- setup? Comments from other OS/2 users are especially welcome.
-
- Thanks y'all,
-
- Divya
