- Hi fellow linuxers,
- I have been reading this newsgroup for a while now, and I am finally going
- to get the money to get the hardware to set up linux and X windows on my pc.
- I have been debating over which video card to get. The two that I am debating
- over are the Diamond Speedstar 24 and the Orchid Prodesigner IIs. Are both
- of these cards supported by linux's version of X11. I have also heard that
- the Diamond card can cause problems with other programs such as MS windows, and
- O/S 2. Please let me know what you think of these cards, or which one you
- think is better. I have found that I can get both for about the same price.
- Please resond via e-mail or News.
