- The Linux digests are merely a digested form of the comp.os.linux
- newsgroup. It's primarily intended for people who do not have usenet
- access, but who still want to find out what's going on with Linux. Each
- digest contains between 20k to 30k of Linux articles; and people who are
- receiving the digest can send mail to the digest list and their mail
- messages will be automatically gatewayed into Usenet, comp.os.linux.

- It's also a good way of searching the "back issues" of comp.os.linux.
- Back issues of the digest can be found on tsx-11.mit.edu, in
- /pub/linux/mail-archives.
