- Hi,
-
- I installed X the other day and have been playing with various stuff.
- My problem is that : after I kill all the windows(or exit out of them), and
- I get out of X session by using quit on twm, the text mode doesn't come up
- as it should and gives me lots of vertical lines. The characters are only
- shown up as vertical lines or nothing which makes it kinda hard to read. ;-(
-
- The version is X386v1.0 and linux is .096a. I am running X on a 386-33
- with 4 meg(is this relevant??) and a ET4000 card with 1 meg memory at 800x600
- resolution with 1024x768 virtual terminal(this virtual terminal thing is real
- cool...:)
-
- Thanks in advance.
