  16.     I installed X the other day and have been playing with various stuff.
  17. My problem is that : after I kill all the windows(or exit out of them), and
  18. I get out of X session by using quit on twm, the text mode doesn't come up
  19. as it should and gives me lots of vertical lines. The characters are only
  20. shown up as vertical lines or nothing which makes it kinda hard to read. ;-(
  21.     
  22.     The version is X386v1.0 and linux is .096a. I am running X on a 386-33 
  23. with 4 meg(is this relevant??) and a ET4000 card with 1 meg memory at 800x600
  24. resolution with 1024x768 virtual terminal(this virtual terminal thing is real
  25. cool...:)
