  11. I'm having problems with elm ans smail...I compiled them and installed them as
  12. the readmes instructed, and they seemed to compile without a hitch (well, they
  13. did have a _few_ warnings :-).
  14. Anyhow, now, when I try to run them, I get the message
  15.     /lib/libc.2.2.2
  16. and a command prompt. (Yes, I used a valid username to test it.)
  17. Smail is nicer--it only fails to run; Elm drops me back to the prompt and screws
  18. up my terminal to the point that I have to log out and back on (setterm -init 
  19. and setterm -reset have no effect...)
  20. I installed the GCC libs as the instructions said...and before you ask, here's
  21. the setup:
  22.     0.97pl1.5 (patch1 + the 1 line patch)
  23.     GCC 2.2.2 (_NOT_ 2.2.2d, but the 2.2.2 distrib from banjo)
  24.     AMD386DX-33 no 387
  25.     8M RAM, 5M swap
  26.     IDE drives
  27. Can someone out there help me? Please?
