  17. I have placed the file as386.doc.Z for anonymous ftp from ftp.mcc.ac.uk
  18. in /pub/linux/misc.  This file, I think, documents the instructions and
  19. syntax used by gas, pointing out differences between this and the syntax
  20. of MASM, the microsoft assembler.  (It is actually not gas but the AT&T
  21. assembler which is described.)  This manual appeared in some newsgroup
  22. long ago, but I've forgotten which or when.
