  11. I've been waiting for someone to post the story about Mr Occam (don't have my
  12. reference handy and forgot his first name) and his razor.

  14. The way I remember the story is:
  15. Occam was an enlisted man in the Union army during the Civil War and was in
  16. charge of supply.  There were shortages of blankets, uniforms, boots, etc.  At
  17. night when the soldiers were sleeping he used his straight razor to cut the
  18. throats of some soldiers (in the same camp) to acquire more blankets, boots,
  19. etc.
