- I've been waiting for someone to post the story about Mr Occam (don't have my
- reference handy and forgot his first name) and his razor.

- The way I remember the story is:
- Occam was an enlisted man in the Union army during the Civil War and was in
- charge of supply. There were shortages of blankets, uniforms, boots, etc. At
- night when the soldiers were sleeping he used his straight razor to cut the
- throats of some soldiers (in the same camp) to acquire more blankets, boots,
- etc.
