- Thanks to all of you who responded with answers to my question
- about how I can send mail to a CompuServe user.
-
- Everyone had pretty much the same suggestion about changing the
- commas in the CompuServe address to periods and tacking on
- "compuserve.com" on the end.
-
- What I discovered, however, was that the mail was returned to me
- when I did that. For example, the following syntax caused the mail
- to be returned with a "Your mail cannot be delivered as addressed"
- message:
-
- xxxxx.yyyy@compuserve.com
-
- However, when I changed the capitalization to the following, it worked:
-
- xxxxx.yyyy@CompuServe.COM
-
- Weird, huh?
-
- I'm able to send mail now using this CompServe syntax so I'm happy.
- Thanks again to all who responded.
