  14. My father recently signed up for Prodigy and is thrilled to the gills
  15. about being able to send me e-mail.  Unfortunatly for him, as I've
  16. recently discovered, Prodigy isn't connected to Internet.  I even called
  17. 1-800-PRODIGY to get it "from the horse's mouth" and the nice lady said
  18. she was unaware of any plans to provide Internet access.

  20. So my curiosity's been piqued.  Are there other ways for computer
  21. illiterates (like Dad) to send and receive e-mail?  Does anyone out there
  22. use MCI-Mail?  How is it?  Are there other such services?  I'm more
  23. inclined to point him towards a commercial service rather than a BBS for
  24. reliability.

  26. I suppose if Prodigy would get it's act together and provide Internet
  27. access, that would solve the problem.  So far it's only a rumor and
  28. possibly a long way from reality.
