- My father recently signed up for Prodigy and is thrilled to the gills
- about being able to send me e-mail. Unfortunatly for him, as I've
- recently discovered, Prodigy isn't connected to Internet. I even called
- 1-800-PRODIGY to get it "from the horse's mouth" and the nice lady said
- she was unaware of any plans to provide Internet access.
-
- So my curiosity's been piqued. Are there other ways for computer
- illiterates (like Dad) to send and receive e-mail? Does anyone out there
- use MCI-Mail? How is it? Are there other such services? I'm more
- inclined to point him towards a commercial service rather than a BBS for
- reliability.
-
- I suppose if Prodigy would get it's act together and provide Internet
- access, that would solve the problem. So far it's only a rumor and
- possibly a long way from reality.
-
- Thanks for your input...
