- We are running ELM 2.3 PL11 with a pretty standard configuration
- (as far as I can tell) and a pretty standard elmrc file. When
- forwarding a message (using the 'f' key), if we answer 'n' to the
- question 'Edit outgoing message? (y/n)', the recipient gets two
- messages. The first contains one line:
-
- Forwarded message:
-
- and the second contains the message as coming from the original
- sender. If we answer 'y' (or just hit the carriage return) to
- the question 'Edit outgoing message', the recipient gets only one
- message containing the 'Forwarded message' line and the original
- message.
-
- Is there a way to set things up so that this latter behavior always
- happens? It is very annoying to receive two messages, especially
- when the one you want to read is not at the top of the list, but
- buried down somewhere with the other messages whose dates match
- that of the originally sent message.
-
- Sorry if this has been asked before.
