  13. I appreciate all proposals for a GC. As a plain user, not a language designer,
  14. I believe a good and optional GC would induce many more people to  switch from
  15. C/Fortran to C++.

  17. Most of all, I hope that someone with the proper  expertise will [1] implement
  18. a minimal GC in Gnu g++, and [2] approach  the ANSI standards committee with a
  19. GC proposal.
