- Hi there!
-
- Part of my masters research involves the automatic generation
- of level (as in altitude) maps from sampled data.
-
- As I am new to this specific field, I was wondering I someone could be kind
- enough to point me in the right direction?
-
- Specifically, I am looking to correctly generate iso-curves of points of same
- "altitude"
- i.e. as in altitude maps: lines of 10',20', 30', etc etc
- All I know Is that this problem is not a trivial one.
-
- More generally, I would appreciate any info on books/articles/scriptures
- containing algorithms pertinent to field of map generation or topology.
-
- advTHANKSance
