  12. Well, I'm still trying to get gnus working. As I mentioned in a
  13. previous post, it seemed to be without instructions. Several people
  14. suggested that I look at the comments at the top of gnus.el for
  15. instructions, which I did. Step two tells me to "unshar" various
  16. files. What is unshar? I never heard of it, no man page has it that I
  17. can find, and the emacs on-line help didn't recognize it.

  19. Several other people told me to run make using the makefile that came
  20. with gnus. I tried, and this is what I got:
