- Hello netters,
-
- the FAQ doesn't contain the answer to my questions although they might be
- simple:
-
- When my emacs saves a "file", it also generates a kind of backup file
- "file~". Normally they are useless to me, but sometimes I need them
- very much. So here are my questions:
-
- Is there a way to tell emacs, to create all ~-files in a special
- directory "wastebasket", which I can delete from time to time?
-
- Can I tell emacs to maintain more than two versions of a file, like
- VMS does?
