- The unexpected packet is probably an IP broadcast packet (like RIP)
- generated by the cisco's secondary IP address. Because the
- workstation believes it is only attached to a single subnet (your
- primary cisco subnet), it gets confused when it receives a packet
- from a node on the secondary subnet.
- I don't know of any workaround, because secondary subnets would seem
- to be "bending the rules" anyway...
