  21. I found that the Zoom modem has trouble negotiating with both the PP modem
  22. and the Telebit Worldblazer.  You can get around that by setting the Zoom NOT
  23. to negotiate but to assume LAP-M.  I used one like that for several months
  24. dialing into each of the two modems I mentioned without any further
  25. difficulties.  Sorry but I do not recall which switch it is, and I have given
  26. my modem, manual, and list of settings to someone else.  However, it is very
  27. easy to find in the manual by browsing through the switches.

  30. used.
