  22. Are you sure, that your EPROMs are -12 and your CPU is a C1999-16?
  23. I have a sample circuit diagram from Rockwell for the RC144DP and the
  24. parts list clearly states that you have to use a 55ns EPROM!
  25. The original EPROMs were one 27HC256-55 from CSI and one 27C256-12 from
  26. Taiwan microchip.

  28. Take a closer look at your EPROMs, maybe there is an additional
  29. marking on them.
