- It could be that you are not using hardware handshaking. You should enable
- hardware (RTS/CTS) handshaking in both the modem and in your software.
- You should disable software handshaking. You also probably want to lock your
- serial port at 19200 or 38400. And finally if you don't have a 16550
- UART then you should get one.
