- Hello. I have been reading a lot about the ZyXEL 1496E on the FIDONET
- HS-MODEMS conference. (HS = high speed)
-
- Anyways, that conference should change its name to the ILUVZYXEL
- conference. Everybody their seems to own a ZyXEL and they love
- their modem.
-
- Well, I wanted to get opinions on the 1496E from a different source,
- so I thought I'd post a message here.
-
- Those of you using the 1496E, what do you think ot?
- The manuals?
- Problems?
- Bugs?
- Support and Service?
- Anything else???
-
- You can reply here or directly to me. I will post a summary of all the
- replies I get directly to me. Thank you.
-
- p.s. I currently own a USR Courier 2400e. I know it is much simpler
- to use but I am still very impressed by the quality of the documentation.
- I would think that good documentation and the inclusion of Command
- Reference sheets would be even more important in high speed fax modems.
- Am I right? Do you owners of these modems feel this is true?
- Should I place less emphasis on the 14.4k faxmodem I get having quality
- documentation? Thanks.
