- Just as a follow up on my fax problems with the Supra modem:
-
- 1. I have attempted to send faxes to several fax machines locally and long
- distance, including Supra's. I have spoken to the people who own these
- machines and they report that they receive faxes from all over and that I am
- the first who has not been able to get through. I have tried to transmit to
- too many machines for the problems to all be with the receiving fax machine.
-
- 2. My com software, Procomm Plus and Procomm Plus for Windows are both able to
- support high speed modems. I don't think the software is to blame. I have
- also tried changing I/O cards and cables.
-
- 3. I realized that I have been trying to fax out of Windows 3.1. However, I
- thought that Winfax Pro was up to it. Ultimately some of the blame may lie
- with the software. I have contacted Supra, Delrina, and Procomm and have taken
- all their suggestions on software settings. My hardware should be up to the
- task.
-
- Perhaps the Supra is not entirely to blame, but I am not satisfied yet. What
- else can I say?
