  20. So you are using ROM version K4.12c ? Here in germany we have 2 versions
  21. of the latest ROMs, K4.12c and M4.12c (512kb ROM and 1mb ROM).
  22. The "K"-version differs in the CID features, i.e. they are left out
  23. of the code since CID is useless outside of the US.
  24. Some times ago Mike Schuster posted here an article about K version
  25. ROMs without "help pages", in order to make the code fit into the
  26. smaller ROMs.
  27. So, could it be there are *two* kinds of K ROMs ?? One version for
  28. the US (without extended help text) and a second for use outside
  29. of the US (without CID) ??
  30. If this is true, are you sure you don't have the "international" K ROMs
  31. with missing CID ??
