- So you are using ROM version K4.12c ? Here in germany we have 2 versions
- of the latest ROMs, K4.12c and M4.12c (512kb ROM and 1mb ROM).
- The "K"-version differs in the CID features, i.e. they are left out
- of the code since CID is useless outside of the US.
- Some times ago Mike Schuster posted here an article about K version
- ROMs without "help pages", in order to make the code fit into the
- smaller ROMs.
- So, could it be there are *two* kinds of K ROMs ?? One version for
- the US (without extended help text) and a second for use outside
- of the US (without CID) ??
- If this is true, are you sure you don't have the "international" K ROMs
- with missing CID ??
