- Well, the 13Amp, rectangular pin socket is virtually standard in the UK
- now, and all external PSU's either plug directly into one of those, or
- have a short mains input cable. The first is more common. My pet hate
- about those PSU's though is that my DEC PDP11 has american 220V sockets on
- the Power Controller. I can't seem to get a PSU that would plug into
- those. I have to make up a lead with n american 220V plug on one end and a
- british 13A socket o nthe other, just to use some kind of buffer box with
- my PDP
