  22. Can anyone help me? We're running a small net of 386/486 boxes. On
  23. the 486 machine we've got Informix SE installed along with SQL and
  24. I-Net. On the other 2 machines we've go SQL and I-Net.

  26. We also have a number of Informix 4GL programs running. The problem
  27. is that when a number of sqlexec processes are started the system
  28. reports the following error messages if someone tries to start
  29. another one:

  31.         -932 : Error on network connection, t_open system call failed
  32.           28 : No space left on device
  33.  
  34. The message appears on the client terminals, the server doesn't seem
  35. to be getting upset about it. I don't know however, whether it's the
  36. client or the server that's generating the error message.

  38. Can anyone tell me why this is happening, what the device in question
  39. is and whether I can do anything about it?

  60.    Note no errors in sqlsrvlog.

  62.    What you should do would be to increase the number of Queues.  This
  63.    should be a parameter like NQUEUE in the kernal on the server.

  65.    You could check this by using crash utility and the command strstat
  66.    (streams status).
