  11. I am having trouble with the Misys Custom Reporter (5.1) running as a 
  12. single user on a 386 machine with 550K memory free.  The following problems 
  13. occur when I attempt to test report scripts:

  15. 1) weird ASCII characters appear in the report and the program crashes
  16. 2) the prgram exits to DOS
  17. 3) the program reboots the computer
  18. 4) error messages such as "Unable to access at end of file ..." or "File 
  19. unit 1 in use" appear.

  21. Everything seemed fine until I installed version 6.0 of the Misys Inventory 
  22. System.  The guy I talked to on the support line said the two programs are 
  23. compatible.  I have already tried reinstalling the reporter (and also 
  24. version 6.0 of Misys) and also I removed all memory resident programs but 
  25. nothing helps.  Anyone have any ideas?  I am stumped!  Thanks in advance.
